If you can't get higher resolution on your monitor, check if you plug the adapter to a USB3.0 port of your PC, USB 2.0 only support resolution up to 800x600.

Why I only get low 800x600 resolution?

If you can't get higher resolution on your monitor, check if you plug the adapter to a USB3.0 port of your PC, USB 2.0 only support resolution up to 800x600.

Can it support Windows XP and Vista?

No, this USB 3.0 to HDMI VGA adapter works on Windows 7,8,10 only, Windows XP and Vista are not supported.

Can HDMI and VGA display 2 different screens?

No, HDMI and VGA only can output same screen with same resolution at the same time. In other words, you only can extend 1 display, but output to HDMI and VGA at same time.

I can get display from monitor but there is no sound?

You need to check if the USB audio is the default sound output device, the USB audio shows as "HZD100" or "C-Media" under playback devices. After you set USB audio to default sound output, you will get sound from HDMI or 3.5mm audio jack.
