This HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor is designed to deliver flexible, high-quality audio extraction for a wide range of AV setups. Fully compliant with the HDMI 2.0b standard, it supports up to 18Gbps bandwidth and resolutions up to 4K@60Hz, making it an ideal solution for outputting audio to an external speaker system with analog or optical inputs, especially for audio systems without HDMI inputs.
Featuring dual audio extraction modes, it allows you to extract audio either directly from an HDMI source device or from your TV’s ARC/eARC HDMI port. In HDMI input extraction mode, the device passes the HDMI signal through to your display while simultaneously extracting audio. In ARC extraction mode, it enables direct audio extraction from an ARC/eARC-enabled TV for connection to external speakers, soundbars, or audio systems.

TV (Auto) Mode:
3.5mm and SPDIF audio output formats are determined by the TV EDID signal from HDMI input (5.1CH audio is supported by SPDIF port only)
2.0 (2CH) Mode:
3.5mm and SPDIF ports will output stereo audio.Extracts the 2CH PCM stereo audio signal from the HDMI input and output through its 3.5mm Audio/Optical SPDIF ports at the same time.
5.1 (5.1CH) Mode:
SPDIF port will output 5.1CH audio, 3.5mm port is disable. Please note HDMI input source must contain 5.1 channel digital audio, otherwise SPDIF will be no audio output.
Note: Turn Off Dolby Digital Plus
Because TOSLINK (SPDIF) does not support Dolby Digital Plus, you need to turn off Dolby Digital Plus function of the input devices.
